Olive Awards – get involved!
ISRM MEMBERS who are involved in running leisure centres, sports centres and health clubs are being urged to take part in the 2008 Olive Awards.
After their launch in 2007, it’s hoped the 2008 awards will attract a wider range of entrants. They are designed to measure employee satisfaction levels across the field of beauty, wellness and integrated health – and to recognise exceptional employers.
In 2007 the winners in the large company category were Six Senses Spas, with Dove Spa (Bromley) scooping the medium-sized award and Independent Mind Body Soul (Balham) winning in the small-sized category.
The benefit of the awards is that every employer who enters gains invaluable information about employee satisfaction – hugely important in attracting and retaining staff, recognising priorities and planning for the future – for an entry fee that is as low as £99.
The ISRM has pledged its support for the scheme and would like to encourage more entries from the sport, leisure and health sector. See www.theoliveawards.com for more details.
